This workshop will focus on exploring various ways to express our ideas in black and white and all the shades in between. Free from the demands of colour, we can focus on achieving interesting, expressive artwork through the use of texture, contrast, shape and value.This will NOT be a drawing class so no particular skills are required – just a lot of enthusiasm and the willingness to let go, get a bit dirty and see how far we can push these traditional mediums. The results will be unpredictable but will form the basis for creating artwork that is unusual and expressive
